増田正
1922年，名古屋生まれ。1943年，東京美術学校（現東京芸術大学）を修了。1954年，増田正デザイン研究所を設立。グラフィックデザインから食品，観光，重工業などの広告デザインまで，手広く手がけ戦後のデザイン界の牽引役として活躍した。近年は海外の民家，町並みを取材した『カントリーサイド』（集英社）の著者・写真家としても知られる。多摩美術大学名誉教授。

Tadashi Masuda
He was born in Nagoya in 1922. He graduated from Tokyo Art College in 1943. In 1954 he established T.Masuda Design Institute.From graphic to commercial desgin , from food and sigtseeing to heavy industry,there was no field he had not dealt with. In recent years,he took many photographes of private houses in Europe and published ﾔCoutntrysideﾕ. He is an emeritus professor of Tama Art University.
