Born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1923. He became free-lance graphic designer in 1947. He loved his hometown, Fukuoka and called himself 'Designer of Fukuoka.' His posters on place in Kyushu won many awards. You can easily find the wall paintings and monuments designed by him on strolling around Fukuoka.
