Dick Bruna
Born in Utrecht in 1927. One of the most famous creators of children’s picture books in the world. He illustrated the covers of many paperbacks, posters and advertisements for his family publishing business from 1951. He illustrated his first picture book in 1952. The first Miffy book was published in 1963. He began to devote himself to picture books in 1972 and until now Bruna has written and illustrated almost 100 books.
